About

This blog is just something for me to share little tips for ubuntu that I have found and to have a central repository of answers to commonly asked questions on ubuntuforums.org and in the ubuntu IRC channels. If you are reading this, thank you for visiting and I hope you found some of the information on this blog useful.

I am a Christian and believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I attend Wheaton College in Chicago, IL and am graduating with a degree in Economics in December ‘08. I have been using ubuntu and its derivatives full time since August of 2006. If you have a specific question feel free to send me a message or contact me (strabes) in #ubuntu.

Your blog has recently been featured on my blog. Thanks for the useful tip on disabling the beep in Ubuntu. How did you find out the cure?

Hello, I support Linux and I’m trying to build a web design resume, would you be interested in letting me fix up your blog for free? Feel free to shoot me an e-mail with any questions, thanks!
